Celebration of Hope 2004
On a Monday afternoon in early May several hundred of Kentucky's bravest survivors joined First Lady Glenna Fletcher at the Governor's Mansion for the seventh annual Celebration of Hope. This event honors the survivors of breast cancer from all across the state. Pop star Kevin Richardson and his mother Ann shared their story of dealing with a terminal disease and its after-effects. With food, music and lots of friends, Celebration of Hope 2004 was a tremendous success.
